Educational Research provides an excellent introduction to the current perceptions of research in education and can act as a steady mentor for those wishing to explore research further. It is very astute and communicated in a clear, non-condescending tone, emanating respect for the reader. The interplay between research, practice and practitioner development comes across well and integrity behind the reason for writing is clear; it is a book written to develop those in the profession and will be of use to educators on many levels. I highly recommend it!
